Brand Direction - Strategic Direction
Brand Direction
At Cherry Rock we don’t believe in jamming or free styling when it comes to developing an approach to your marketing. For best results, we need everyone rocking to the same beat. We believe you should think first, then act. That’s why we offer a full day’s collaborative strategic session known as a ROD (Revelation of Design) as the starting point for your brand before planning any marketing or creative executions. Key outcomes from this session include an iRod (Internal Revelation of Design) and an iVod (Internal Vision of Destiny). This provides the song sheet or score that everyone inside and outside of your company needs to believe in, learn and hum along with in order to make your brand the rock stars of your area.

Strategic Direction
For artists and talent the ROD process will define an internal ‘positioning’ for them, which will guide all future recommendations and associations. Obviously knowing that an artist stands for ‘rebellion’, for example, is going to create different opportunities than for an artist who stands for ‘family-values’. At Cherry Rock we will never put a square peg in a round hole; we won’t force an artist into an inappropriate client association or vice versa.

For brands, the ROD process will provide the strategic platform for all subsequent marketing recommendations. It will provide the necessary thinking springboard for the specifically targeted music and entertainment brand experiences Cherry Rock can and will create for them.

With your aspirations, beliefs and vision established through the ROD we can now plan for the future and recommend creating a 2-year strategic plan identifying key timelines and milestones. We call this our Communication Master Plan.

If an execution or marketing concept doesn’t match the ROD, it won’t find its way into the Communication Master Plan.
